Baby products firm CuddleCo has unveiled a new green stroller made from 5.6kg of recycled and biobased materials with a seat using 62 recycled soft drink bottles.

The Greentom model, designed by Bart Bost at the Manchester-based firm, comes in two versions – the Upp, priced at £199 and the Combi at £449.

The Upp is produced using recyclable and biobased materials PP and PET, which make up 93% of the product. At the end of its lifecycle, it can be reused or recycled.

The Upp stroller, which is suitable from six months upwards, has an integrated shopping basket, an extendable sun canopy, integral suspension and 360° front swivel wheels.

The Combi, which can be used for children up to four years old, incorporates a carrycot, a rear/forward facing seat, adaptors for car seats and a toddler’s stroller.
